    Is that your normal posture?
  2. I would wear a coat in that brown silk without dots. Anyway the dots seem a little too widely spaced. The tie might end up with just 3 rows of dots, which is not going to look fantastic.

    kotmj's Tailoring Notes

Nice! I am very keen to see the end product. I assume overcoats also come with different padding options like in suit/sport coats?

I am a total newbie. Please help me.

I have used both 16l and 18l for the front, and usually 14l for the buttondown and cuffs. Thickness is a bit of a personal preference. But, for 16l buttons, you definitely don't want it to be too thin.

Actually I have seen very serviceable trousers from asian tailors that don't look inferior to those produced by well-known European tailors that charge 2-3 times more. RvdV, could you show us some examples of superior European trousers? Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Gorge dart and more chest drape. I shall try that next time. He has been so quiet recently.

3m for 90cm is quite sufficient. Most companies don't sell to private customers. Apart from Acorn, Bonfanti is the only one I know that has an online website. Not cheap though.

That's it? I was waiting for things to get kinky weird. I mean, there is only so much naked rolling-around one can do.

Does anyone know how does one achieve this sort of bowled chest in a coat? Just a matter of additional chest drape (I suspect not)?

I guess it will look nice with a pair of white jeans if worn by someone with sufficient panache.

Awesome embroidery! The camo linen is a little next level for me.

PSA: a/k/a The Awesome Deals Thread

a suitable wardrobe having a 30% sale. Plenty of cool stuff, including some Riva cloth. The prices of the Riva cloth after discount are probably the cheapest I have ever seen for cut length.
