    The suiting thread

Thanks for the welcome guys. I had my first suit made in Malaysia yesterday. I dropped by Buttonliew to get him to commission a suit in double time. Chose a charcoal colored SB 120SP 36G wool from Drago. I needed fabrics that he had in stock locally as the suit has to be ready by the end of next week. He threw in some very nice lining from Germany, can't remember the name and I purchased some collection buttons instead of using the normal suit buttons he has. First fitting will be in a couple of days time. So excited. I hope it turns out well.

    The suiting thread

HI, I am new to this forum and I must say, the level of sophistication on the subject matter has me really impressed. I used to wear suits all the time for my career, but that came to an end several years ago. And now, I am restarting all over again and the suits that once were with me in every travels, seem outdated or have gone a little tight. Ok, a lot tighter then I would like. I will now have to begin restocking my wardrobe and I have stumbled across this wonderful forum last night and I had to join. I usually wore a 2 piece suit, sometime 3 piece depending on the the continent I was in and I always wore this with a brace/suspender looped. Never like wearing belts with my suits. The colors I normally go for a dark grey, navy blue, dark brown and light grey. I am looking forward to learning and contributing to this forum and hope to get a suit done soon by Jeremy Tok. Cheers! Richard
