@Moldybiscuit Thanks for the info. Anw I have been emailing Robinsonshoes.com and they told me that Loake Tweed is slightly lower in quality as to the 1880s. And that Barker Newcastle was better in quality than the Loake Tweed. On another note, the Loake Aldwych that i bought from PLAL had an unsightly crease on the vamp, which i assume was due to customers trying on of the shoe. I m not sure but i do not think this is acceptable as I see quite a number of ebay listings consisting of marking down their prices by 15%-30% for these "new" shoes. Anyone have similar experiences with PLAL?
  5. Dress shoes

Hi guys, I just got myself started with an entry level Loake Aldwych. I m looking to get something a like more dressy, was thinking of either the Loake Tweed or Barker Newcastle. Are these 2 similar in quality? And since the Loake Tweed isn't in the 1880s collection, is it inferior in quality? Any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks!!

Hi guys, I am thinking of letting go of my Loro Piana Four Seasons in Navy Blue. Think I would be going for a charcoal grey instead. The colour looks much more like the first 2 pictures. I have a length of 3m. Selling at cost price @$300 for the whole length. PM if you have any interest in it. Thanks! Slevedge reads: *****Super 130's Extrafine Merino Wool- Cloth By Lanificio Inc.
