  1. Aw man that looks great. Due to financial difficulties I may have to sell off my kerbau v1 cloth. I've got 5 meters. Anyone interested can PM me.
  2. What did you eat just now?

Any Pasar Ramadhan/buka puasa places (hotel/restaurants) hot tips? I've not been to any so far.
  3. The suiting thread

    sweet, sweet balls
  4. The suiting thread

    Terrorsquad should be up next!
  5. What did you eat just now?

I live near there. Have you tried the other restaurants at the terrace? The indonesian restaurant there (1891?) serves nice duck lychee rice, and fukuharu has some nice sushi specials there.
  6. Baju Melayu

A few years ago, I went to two tailors along Masjid India to get some baju melayu's done. Went to Kas Tailor and MZ Tahir. I prefer Kas Tailor, the tailor got everything correct. Wearing it was a nice fit, it wasn't too tight, but it wasn't too loose either. MZ Tahir's was just bad. Initially when it was done, it was two sizes bigger, the sewing was shoddy and not neat at all, and the remedial alteration was very poor.
  7. Tea

someone gave me the OSK green tea which I drink in the office. Trying to cut down on my coffee intake and most of the time it works
  8. Collateralised debt a.k.a. The Cloth Thread

  10. The suiting thread

I'm not really sure . All I can recall is that Granoff supposedly makes nice, but expensive suits, and i was wondering where he ranked.
  11. The suiting thread

Yup, I seem to recall someone posting on LYN that his suits were very nice, just too expensive. I may have recalled wrongly.

What about that dude from Granoff?
  13. What did you eat just now?

zinzan there is a restaurant called Songket at Jln Yap Kwan Seng which even has traditional malay dances every other night. You could try there. I would have suggested Ibunda near Pavillion but I passed by yesterday and it has been replaced with (another) arabic restaurant. http://runningandrew.blogspot.com/2011/05/songket-restaurant-at-jalan-yap-kwan.html but you probably have to call, they don't have the dances everyday, i don't think.
  14. The suiting thread

I've seen a cutaway DB like that before, and it looks very nice when the DB is unbuttoned. I know a DB should never be unbuttoned, but it does give the DB a bit of versatility.
  15. I am a total newbie. Please help me.

i'll start. where do i get proper pocket squares?
