Any recommendations for getting good socks (i.e. those that don't slip down your calves) in KL?

Thanks.

Wj&co at bangsar shopping centre. They stock over the calf length Bresciani socks. Reasonably priced imo.

The proprietor Wen is a great guy.

I got 2 G&Gs from him before the pound's massive drop - back then it was decent prices when you factor in postage and duties when buying from other retailers.

Good to support a local store.

G&G used to be 500 or less. Those were the days.

I'm having a batch of 30 pocket squares made by a lady working from home in London. They are amazing, btw. You will see.

The pocket squares are one of several things I'm thinking of stocking. The idea of selling things (on a tiny scale) came from figuring out what to do with this empty space in the shop (the empty space between the entrance and the square table).

I could populate the space with mannequins wearing display jackets, etc., but it would be more profitable to populate it with things people might want to buy. If this little clearing were situated in 1U etc., I'd be paying RM10k/month in rent on it.

I'm thinking of bringing in horsehair clothes brushes made in Germany next, and wooden suit hangers.

I haven't worn a pocket square in years, but since I'm now selling them, I may as well. I took the least promising design, just to see if it works. Turns out pretty much any design works, since the purpose of a square is to give a burst of colour to an otherwise somber outfit of dark blue or grey.

Engaging in this thing called visual merchandsing... The important thing about it is to have a sufficient SKU density, meaning, lots of different stuff in a small space. 5X more stuff and it gets a bit warmed up. Right now it's just a few pocket squares in the middle of nowhere.

Edit: I figured this should have gone into garment maintenance thread. Please move if necessary. Thanks!

Piacenza pure cashmere pocket squares. I think I'm going for "Australia" myself.

looking for a belt and wallet and google is leading me to equus leather.

Based on the videos they have on the website, it seems very impressive (i am shallow that way).

Does anyone owns their stuff? or if anyone is interested in buying their stuff, let me know and maybe we can save on shipping costs (although it looks like they wont b taking any more orders for 2016).

Well, Equus is very well reviewed. I have seen a belt by them and it is massively made. WW3 ready.

Bought some stuff for Drake's as a pet project on whether one can just create a website, buy and sell gentlemen related goods online and make some money.

Anyone interested in a Drake's pocket square? Retails online for 45 pounds, looking to sell it for rm280 and will deliver it to you if you are in KL for free.
