Your Filson is a beauty. What is the cheapest way of buying one, including shipping? From Crane's?

Workingpeople have it at 210, with a 10% coupon TY2012 will get you 189 shipped conus. Use a forwarder like vpost or hopshopgo; probably add on another 20-30 dollars.

I bought my 256 from Crane's but cannot recommend them. The duffel I bought from allthingsoutdoors on ebay, then used a forwarder. Both have been willing to sell at 20% off the list price.

Is that a 256 or 257 that Mr. Cruise is lugging?

Purely from looks, it's the Havannah (second link) for me.

Found a Japanese brand of canvas bags. This duffel in particular looks interesting but Filson looks more robust.

Japanese bag makers seem to favour thinner canvas that has been treated or woven specially for more strength and lightness.

Robert Pattison has this huge Filson duffel, but what I'm really interested in is the Marc Jacobs leather duffel he has in the other hand... probably costs a bomb.

Anyone has an LV Keepall 50? Is it practical and do you find yourself reticent to use it because of the obvious logos?

I think it is very likely that i will drop the Ettinger. too pricey for a canvas. A wise man recently said this to me "...would really hesitate to pay 400 quid for a cotton bag! Save more and order a glaser!" .very interesting indeed. I saw a nice looking duffel bag at Halo, Bangsar that day. It was on sale and i still don't know why i didn't buy it.

I think the LV keepall is cool.reluctance would most probably be due to the massive supply of imitations out there.
