17oz 666s. 25 is way too heavy for my tastes.

Not only heavy but too damn uncomfortable.

I will never sacrifice comfort just to "look good"

Any suggestions on where would be a good place to alter jeans in SG?

If it's raw denim and you want the authentic thing, I go to tuckshop and sundry supplies for the union special machine. Youngsters go to Tet's in peninsula plaza, but it's not the real deal - looks chainstitched but isn't.

No problemo. I'm due for a drinks session with them at the store on 27th Dec, you're welcome to come then if you'd like.

^i believe they are on sale now. Denim wise, not too bad, a lot of sizes for naked and famous. And very friendly staff too.

Went last Sat.

only TWO pairs of jeans is 50% and SOME 30%.

Price wise i find their premium is double what the list price is overseas.

They do have friendly staff.

My first time touching heavy weight denim ie. over 18/20oz.

How on earth can people wear those i have no idea. Seriously....

You should handle 25oz. It looks and feels bulletproof - like bending your joints and being physically restrained from doing so.

I would need to find a workshop that would sew these things for me. Jeans are pretty specialized.
