I didn't get this to be worn with my black tie though. Well, I didn't think it would be appropriate anyway. It's supposed to be an 'indoor' slipper that I trot around in my flat and around my hall - ie. milk runs, getting the mail or surviving the dreaded fire drill.

 

Trottin' round your flat in a pair of Church's!! :o Baller.

These are definitely black-tie appropriate. Definitely.

ok the aligator and croc leather is not in stock, nor the cordovan in the e-shop got my size, i wanted the green cordovan seriously

so my fund went to some alden and some cheaney and some trickers, that all for this year and hopefully those can reach me before christmas

 

so which carmina is this .....

first thought, this is huge like doc mart / caterpillar category

most probably not getting another pair soon, anyway i need variation in my collection

dun see any occasion i be wearing them, i think i pass to my son hahah..

The instep tapering down to the toebox is more pronounced on the Carminas. Notwithstanding the big names (G&G, EG, JL, etc.), the rest of the English brands don't seem interested in heading in that direction just yet.
