The tailor is Italian. A costume house in Rome founded by a certain Umberto Tirelli.

While Tirelli Costumi is the supplier of the wardrobe, they probably contracted out the actual tailoring. But to whom? Who was the cutter?

Wes Anderson, director of the movie, dresses quite well himself. Rare for any director. Do an image search and see for yourself.

I wonder if you will start seeing an increase in orders for double breasted suits from the young 'uns after this movie starts showing here.

The interior and exterior shots of the tailor shop is in fact 11 Savile Row, i.e. Huntsman.

A Time to Kill - 1997 movie based on the John Grisham novel of the same name.

Matthew McConaughey's wardrobe is pretty preppy - Southern style. Tan suits, knit ties, button downs.

Murder-on-the-Orient-Express-film.jpg

Murder on the Orient Express. Damn, are the suits good! The tailor is a certain Andy Kapetanos of Savile Row, who has his own practice and whose website is under construction.

The story is a little predictable, but the set and wardrobe and acting by the lead actor are all worth watching.
