I installed Firefox last night and realised that the skin used renders differently in Firefox compared to IE. In particular, the pop-up baloons that appear when the cursor goes over a forum (say The Bazaar) has a black background, and displays no wording is there is no forum description. So I added a description to every forum, "The good stuff" etc. In IE there is no ballon if there is no description, and the description if any is a very light grey.

I would like to know how thekerbau renders in other browsers and also in other formats like tablets and mobile phones.

I used to have this problem where everytime I made a post, the whole thread from page 1 would be displayed. I thought it was only me, but at the recent meetup I was told everyone had the same problem.

It was caused by the "Deluxe" skin by Tom Christian that I selected for the forum. The latest version of that skin solves it.

The metrics I get are primitive. Essentially only new member registrations. But if I dig around I also get data on the number of PMs sent (most of which end up in Terror's inbox).

Unexpectedly, new member growth is no faster today than when the forum started.

Tuesdays at work appear to be more boring than Mondays. 261 unique visitors made a whopping 836 visits. Each visit was some 12 minutes. 72% are direct traffic, while 25% arrived via typing "the kerbau" and "thekerbau" into google. Only 2.6% arrived on the site via a link on another site -- twitter and lowyat being the two biggest sources of referred traffic. 80% of visitors are from Malaysia and Singapore.

OMG, I'm afraid I gave the wrong data about the page views and unique visitors. The numbers I gave were cumulative!! Please forgive me if you were already hatching plans for bringing thekerbau to IPO.

Anyway, on Sunday there were 100 unique visitors. 115 on Monday, 122 on Tuesday, and 130 on Wednesday. The visits per day are in the 300s, so about 3 visits per day for the average visitor.
